SISTERS OF ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST HOUSE OF PRAYER - TAGAYTAY CITY

The Sisters of St. John the Baptist House of Prayer is a Retreat House that offers retreat facilities and services that would cater to the spiritual needs of all who seek a personal encounter with God. It caters to individuals, groups, students, and families, eager to set apart a sacred time in order to take the inner journey of love in its most profound sense. The silence and beautiful landscape of the Retreat House, facing the peaceful panorama of the Taal Lake offers a perfect scenery for meditation and contemplation. 

The community of sisters serving in the House of Prayer has expanded their ministry according to the signs of the times. Aside from the retreat services, at present they are offering catechetical instructions in public schools, in-house weekly catechism for children as preparations for the Sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation, feeding and educational assistance program, adult catechism, outreach program to families which includes home visitation, financial assistance and charitable help and the “Wellness Ministry”.
